Margaret Lucille (Hooker) Barnes, 85, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Beebe Retirement Center in Beebe, Arkansas. Margaret was born on November 24, 1932 in Bayou Meto, Arkansas to the late Robert C. and Arlie E. (Cris) Hooker. Margaret worked for most of her life in the printing industry at the newspaper. Margaret was of the Baptist faith and attended White Water Missionary Baptist Church. Margaret will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Margaret is survived by three sons, Walter Barnes and wife Jean, Jeff Barnes and wife Tina, and Robert Barnes; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Barnes; two brothers, Herman and Kenneth Hooker; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; along with many extended family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Robert C. and Arlie E. (Cris) Hooker; husband, Deward Benson Barnes, and one son, Deward Junior Barnes.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas with Calvin Barnes officiating.

Pallbearers are Jason Barnes, Cody Barnes, Benny Barnes, Ayden Barnes, Jeffery Barnes, and Marshall Barnes.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
