Son of John Alan Nelson & Carla Jo (Sigman) Nelson; brother of John David Nelson. Grandson of Earl Sigman & Lois (Lollar) Sigman & Billy Joe & Lurleen Nelson. Mark had just graduated from high school & was on the way to his high school prom when he was tragically killed in a car accident. He had plans of attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He enjoyed long debates on subjects ranging from politics, religion, world affairs, & most any topic that might be available at the time. He had also planned on studying abroad. He loved guitars & spent hours playing as a group member of the Never Silenced Band. He was an avid reader who enjoyed a variety of books. As a senior at Blytheville High School, Mark was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, French Club, & a member of Good News a Nine at the First United Methodist Church in Blytheville. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl & Lois Sigman.
