Colbert Leon Wilson, 83, of Mountain Home passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 in Calico Rock. He was born December 28, 1937 in Amos, Arkansas to the late James Marcy and Ethal May (Ellis) Wilson. Colbert worked heavy equipment all his life. There are very few roads in Baxter County that his dozer didn't work on it at one time or the other. He also loved to fish and hunt. He loved to go dancing on a Saturday night. He and Miss Ellie really knew how to tear up the dance floor. Colbert never meet a stranger. He was an outgoing person. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Kermit Wilson, Hayes Wilson, Vernon Wilson and William Wilson; three sisters, Carman Crow, Rosalie Wilson and Nellie Wilson.

Colbert leaves behind his partner, Ellie Donaldson and Skipper; two sons, Rickey (Virginia) Jeffery of Benton, Marty (Lagena) Wilson of Old Joe; a daughter, Rebecca (Craig) Kilian of Calico Rock; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Nagle, Chris Jeffery, Erica Jeffery, Neil Jeffery, Zane Goodson, Zack Killian, Dillion Wilson and Faith Wilson; 12 great grandchildren, Byron, Kinley, Cameron, Kennedy, Ryatt, Kreig, Blaze, Zane, Bradyn, McKinzie, Sky Lynn and Bryson.

Services are private under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
