Age 83, of Mt Pine, died Tuesday; born in Story AR, to William Amos and Vadie Viola (Worthy) Reed; an Army Veteran of WW II; retired afer 36 years as supervisor in the lumber industry; member of the World Wide Church of God.
Predeceased by daughters Marilyn Reed and Janice Ward, brothers Ernest Reed and Amos Reed, and four sisters: Lois Turner, Velma Griffith, Roxie Barnes, and Zelma Foley.
Survivors include wife of 61 years, Ila Faye (Goodson) Reed, of Mt. Pine, three sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmie D. and Gracie Reed, of Land O Lakes, FL; Harold G. and Melva Reed, of Mt. Ida; and Joey Kevin and Linda Reed, of Hot Springs; one sister, Delma Abernathy, of Royal, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
