Son of Herbert L. Minton and Louise E. Wilson Minton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, all of his brothers and sisters, his wife Fae, his daughter Patsy, and his son Junior.
He is survived by his three sons; ; eight grandchildren; great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his loving companion; one son-in-law; and a host of friends and acquaintances.
After his retirement from buying and selling cattle for several packing companies, he spent his time farming and being with his family and friends, and traveling from church to church to attend singings. He loved telling jokes and making everyone laugh. He was liked and respected by many people.
