BENTONVILLE — Fred M. Callison, 74, of Bentonville died March 30, 2002, in Bentonville. He was born Oct. 21, 1927, in Walnut Ridge to Otis S. and Alice E. Stringer Callison. He was a general laborer and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers. He grew up in Strawberry and moved to Rogers in 1946 and then to Bentonville in 1980. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Magdalene Hubbard Callison of the home, to whom he was married Oct. 22, 1949; three sons, Jim Callison and wife Gail of Rogers, Tommy Callison and wife Debbie of Garfield and Stan Callison of Rogers; two daughters, Pauline Lasister and husband Mike of Rogers and Cheryl Irgang and husband Steve of Troy, Mont.; two sisters, Evelyn Baker of Rogers and Jo Ann Enterline of Yukon, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers with Fred Agee and Anthony Baker officiating.

Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home, Rogers.
