Josie Baggett, 12, was born Dec. 29, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She passed away Jan. 22, 2006, at her home in Brookeland, Texas, after a brave battle with brain cancer. She will be missed very much. She finished Bonnie Grimes Elementary School in Rogers and prior to this attended Pulaski Heights Elementary in Little Rock. She began sixth grade in Brookeland, but was too ill to continue.

She was preceded in death by her sister Dawn Baggett.

She has left to cherish her memory her dogs, Cupcake, Baby, Bigdog, Blacky and her cat, Kittycat; her parents, Robert and Stephanie Baggett; her sister, Amy Green and husband Jimmy and niece Kayla Green of Centerton; her grandparents, Freddie and Lorraine Baggett of Rogers and Cecil and Marcela Taylor of West Fork; her uncles, John Malinkovic of Bentonville and Kenny Baggett and wife Trish of Rogers; and many friends.

Josie was a very energetic, kind and loving girl, animal lover, not afraid to try anything, from bungee jumping to high diving and bicycle acrobatics, and will be held very dear in our hearts. We know she is busy tending to all God's creatures great and small in the sky, and look forward to being with her again at another time.

A memorial celebration of Josie"s life will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at Chapel on the Creeks, 5202 Village Parkway, Rogers, with the Rev. Margaret McLellan officiating.

The family wishes no flowers, but Josie would be pleased if donations be made in her memory to the Rogers Animal Shelter, 2935 W. Oak St., Rogers, 479-621-1197.
