October 1, 1967 - January 22, 2020
Kenneth (Kenny) Wayne Odom passed from this life to be with his Lord January 22, 2020. He loved his family and singing praises to the Lord. He was full of laughter and advice whether you liked it or not. He had a listening ear, outgoing personality and was a true friend to all. When he walked in his smile would light up a room. He always made a bad situation great. If you ever met him you knew you had a friend. To know him was to love him.
He worked for RWC for 20 years out of Memphis, TN. He attended Lighthouse Church of Millington, TN.
He is preceded in death by his daddy Joe Ross and half brother, Bryan Odom and all his grandparents.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sheila Odom; his mother, Peggy Morgan (Bennie); his father Riley Odom; one sister, Margie Dorris (Darren); one son, Dustyn Odom; one daughter, Jordan Odom; 3 step-daughters, Samantha Denton, Savanna Luster (Luke) and Megan Friar (Kody); 2 nephews, Matt Story and Preston Odom; 4 grandchildren, McKinzi, Liam, Piper and Leigha; 3 step-sisters, Shellie Olesen (Tommy), Sherry Evans (James) and Stephanie Evans as well as his RWC family and crew.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at the funeral home. Services will be 2:00 Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Don Phillips officiating followed by interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Story, Preston Odom, Terry Story, Jerry Story, Willie Bethea and Marion Hooks.
