Curtis Lynn, age 76 of Monticello passed away Thursday,
May 21, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Monticello, AR. He
was born February 14, 1933 to the late Ardell Lynn & Tommie
Jones Lynn.
He was a retired textile mill worker & pulpwood worker. He was also a member of the Cominto Baptist Church & a U.S. Army veteran of
the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a son, David Lynn;
two brothers, Bob Lynn & Billy Lynn & a granddaughter, Anna Lynn
Borden.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Phillips Lynn of Monticello; his
daughter, Teresa Borden of Monticello; one sister, Mary Ann
Copeland of Little Rock; two grandchildren & one great grandchild.

Dorothy M. Phillips Lynn, 78, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at her home. She was born January 21, 1935 in Drew County to the late Wesley Thomas Phillips and Della Shoops Phillips.
She was the widow of Curtis Lynn, retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Cominto Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by one son, David Lynn, one granddaughter, Anna Borden, two brothers, Joe Phillips and Doyle Phillips and two sisters, Evon Lindsey and Cally Jordan.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa “Terri” Borden and her soul mate, Brian Kelly, of Monticello; one sister, Irene Phillips Sealey and husband, Art, of Monticello; one grandson, David Borden and soul mate, Jessica Honeycutt, of Monticello; one granddaughter, Katie J. Borden of Monticello; the father of her grandchildren, David R. Borden of Hobbs, NM; one great-granddaughter, Anna Borden of Monticello.
