Walter Joseph Jones, Jr., age 87, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at his residence. He was born September 3, 1929, in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, and had lived most of his life in Texarkana.
He was a member of Highland Church of Christ and was retired from Ragland Printing Company.
Survivors include his wife, Odistene Jones of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Kelley and Meleah Jones of Austin, Texas, one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bill Goff of Benton, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Jakeb and Lacey Goff and Nathan and Dara Goff of Texarkana, Arkansas, Laci Goff of Benton, Arkansas, Collin and Lyndi Jones of Denton, Texas, and Amy Kay Jones of Austin, Texas, twelve great-grandchildren, James Goff, Joseph Goff, Macie Goff, Miller Goff, Manning Goff, Marlee Kay Goff, Malachi Goff, Ethan Goff, Edge Goff, Evan Goff, Lorelai Jones, and Corbin Jones, and his beloved dog, Bo.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 P. M. Saturday at Highland Church of Christ with Chris Hooten and Steve McIntosh officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
