Mrs. Ella Pearl Edwards Campbell, age 94, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at her home with her family members by her side.

Born in Kennett, Mo., the daughter of Sam A. and Annie (Stroup) Edwards.

She graduated from Senath High School where she was a proud member of the basketball and track teams. Ella met her soon to be husband Odell Campbell, while working as a telephone operator in Kennett, Missouri. They were married in Paragould and later settled in Blytheville after Odell returned from overseas during WWII. They were happily married for fifty-seven years until the death of Odell. Ella was also the co-owner and operator of Odell Campbell Used Furniture & Antiques located in Blytheville for 50 plus years and was a member of Yarbro Baptist Church.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Odell Campbell; two sons, Odell Campbell Jr. (infant) and Denny R. Campbell; two brothers, Barney Edwards, T.R. Edwards and three sisters, Mary Lee Edwards, Falma Parker, and Vera Anderson.

She leaves her beloved three daughters, Ella Kay Marr of Blytheville, AR., Bonnie Meade and husband Sam of Trenton, Ohio, Shelia Kendrick and husband Bobby of Armorel, AR.; twin sister, Lee Earl Lemonds of Kennett, Mo; brother, Harold Edwards of Kennett, Mo.; nine grand-children, fourteen great grand-children and one great-great grand-child whom she dearly loved.

Funeral services will were in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Blytheville.
