Coy Franklin Rowe, 90, of Blytheville died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.
Born July 17, 1919 in Rector, Arkansas, he was the son of David Franklin and Oma Bell (Henderson) Rowe.
He was a heavy equipment operator with S. J. Cohen Construction Company and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his two daughters: Peggy Shelton of Batesville, Paula June McDonald of Cabot; two sons: Frank Rowe of Arlington, Tennessee and Trent Rowe of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Rowe of Belvidere, Illinois.
Coy was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Grace Pauline (Moore) Rowe; his parents; one sister; and five brothers.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
A graveside service was held at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Blytheville with Dr. Jimmy Anderson officiating.

Daughter of Martin Williams Moore and Grace Watson Adams. She married Coy Franklin Rowe on January 1, 1937. Survived by two daughters, Peggy Louise Reynolds Shelton of Batesville AR and Paula June McDonald of Cabot AR. Also survived by two sons, Coy Franklin "Frank" Jr. of Arlington TN and Trent Martin of Jonesboro AR. Predeceased by parents and three sisters, Stella Lee Ellis Belting, Mary Edith Webster Reckord, and Thelma Lear Jackson Smiddy Azzalina. Survived by sisters Lilly Maxine Rambo, Bernice Elizabeth McLean, and Martha Kathryn White Presson, and one brother, Martin Dee Moore of Brooklyn, NY., grandchildren, greatgrandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.
