DORA COPPEDGE HUFFMAN
Dora Coppedge Huffman, 86, of Blytheville, Ark., died Sunday, December 24, 2000 at her daughter's home in Memphis, Tenn.
Born in Dover, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Erle and Eunice Wilson Coppedge.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rebekah Huffman Dietrich.
She received her B.A. degree in English from Middle Tennessee State University, and her
M.A. degree in English from Vanderbilt University. She taught junior high English in the Blytheville
Public School System. Mrs. Huffman was a member and past president of Chapter D, PEO and was a
member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for fifty years.
Mrs. Huffman leaves her husband, Frank J. Huffman, of Blytheville;
One son, Frank J. Huffman, Jr., of Memphis;
One daughter, Martha Huffman, of Memphis;
One brother, Erle W. Coppedge, of Memphis;
One sister, Rebekah Coppedge of Lynchburg, Va.;
Eight grandchildren; and
Three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Huffman were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2000 at the First
Baptist Church in Blytheville with Rev. Bill Fuller, Rev. Linda Serino, and Rev. Eyleen Farmer officiating.
Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Blytheville; Chapter D, PEO in Blytheville; or Methodist Hospice in Memphis.
