"Beloved Mother of George, Betty, Ann, Barbara, Vickie and Johnny"
Mrs. Nedra Elouise (Thompson) Tribble, 81, of Hickory Ridge died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Jonesboro.
She was born March 1, 1930 at Beedeville, the daughter of Truman T. and Linnie Mae (Nelson) Thompson.
Mrs. Tribble was a homemaker, and a cook at Beedeville schools. She was the Baptist belief, and loved caring for others. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Tribble was preceded in death by her husband William Robert Tribble; one son, Billy Joe Tribble; one infant brother; two sisters, Lois Thompson Newby and Wilma Thompson Williams; and one grandson, Joseph Ray Burnett.
She is survived by two sons, George Burnett and wife Peggy of Hickory Ridge and Johnny Tribble and wife Donna of Jonesboro; five daughters, Barbara Jean Scarbrough and husband Jerry of Jonesboro, Bertha Wells of Newport, Patricia Hunt of Hickory Ridge, Betty Tribble Fraley of Augusta, and Vickie Darlene Bobbitt of Little Rock; one brother, Harold Sonny Thompson of McCrory; ten grandchildren, George Harvey Burnett, Timothy William Burnett, Julie Mae Burnett, Sandra Fraley Yeager, Andrew Fraley, Angela Lawson, Mike Scarbough, Justin Bobbitt, Candice Rodriguez, and Natasha Jackson; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Randy Newby, Jerry Scarbrough, Mike Scarbrough, Tim Newby, Oscar Newby, and Joe Newby.
Honorary pallbearers were: Jim and Pat Cole, and Graham Lawson.
