A Graveside Service for Hazel "Sunny" Church of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held privately at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Sunny (Hazel) Church was born September 18, 1931 in Hoisington, Kansas to Harry and Meta Gerndt Hall.

She was retired when she moved to Mountain Home with her husband Winifred in 1986, from Charlotte Hall, Maryland.

Sunny was an active member of First United Methodist Church and participated in many activities there.

She was a volunteer for 10 years at Hospice of the Ozarks and was a 10 year member of the Alley-White American Legion Auxillary of Mountain Home.

Sunny is survived by her son, Ronald Filbert and wife Jeanne, her daughter Sheryl Hargrave and husband David; her four grandchildren, John, Amanda, Stephen and Felicia, three great-grandchildren Jesse, Liam and Kristian, and her sister, Helen Pelton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.

Burial will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
