Miss Ruby Inez Neal, 24, of this city, daughter of Dr. J. R. Neal, of Asheville, N.C. and Mrs. Neal of Blytheville, succumbed at 6:55 o'clock this morning at the Blytheville Hospital of injuries received in a highway accident on September 26.
She was the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Patterson of near this city.
Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. S. H. Salmon, pastor of the church, officiating and the Rev. W. J. LeRoy, pastor of the Lake Street Methodist Church, assisting. Interment will be made at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Malin, Earl Buckley, J. J. Bryant, Oscar Hardaway, Bob Erwin and J. H. Baird.
Miss Neal was injured when a car in which she was riding struck an unlighted parked auto on Highway 61 on the night of September 28 while returning with three companions from a boat dance at Caruthersville, Mo. She sustained injuries to both hips, the pelvis bone and other injuries. Miss Neal had been confined in the Blytheville Hospital since the accident.
The Cobb Undertaking Company is in charge of arrangements.
