June 20, 1952 - June 26, 2018
Barbara K. Zellers Goodman, daughter of the late Robert Jake Zellers and Mildred L. Burnette Zellers, was born June 20, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She departed this life June 26, 2018 in Sage, Arkansas at the age of 66 years and 7 days. She was united in marriage to James Goodman November 28, 1971 and together they raised three children. Barbara spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years: James Goodman of the home; one son: James David Goodman of Ohio; two daughters: Joyce Beach and husband Billy of Sage and Deborah Messenger and husband Andrew of Mankato, Minnesota; one brother: Robert Zellers of Ash Flat; seven grandchildren: Kylia Goodman, Kaiden Burchett, Kaylynne Burchett, Gavin Messinger, Dylan Messenger, Elaina Messenger and J. J. Goodman and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and two half sisters.
Visitation and funeral service will be Saturday, June 30 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.
