Linda D. Busbee of Marshall, Arkansas died Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 at Cox South in Springfield, Missouri. Ms. Busbee was 68 years old. She was the daughter of the late Everett Manuel and Madge (Jackson) Manuel. (Born 21 Jan 1947 in Marshall).
Ms. Busbee was a born again Christian and was baptized as a young adult. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Marhsall.
Ms. Busbee married James Busbee on the 28th of December 1968. She was a worker for the Searcy County as the Deptuty County Clerk for over 26 years. She enjoyed going fishing and loved her fishing trips with James.
In earlier days Linda liked to play Skip-Bo and along with friends, Irene, Regina and May, she would fix a large meal every Wednesday evening and play cards. She enjoyed going shopping with her grandkids and whether watching old movies and TV shows with her grandson or playing UNO with her granddaughter, they always took center stage in her life.
Ms. Busbee is survived by her husband of 48 years: James Busbee of the home and two daughters and sons-in-law: Angie and David Fore of Rogers, Arkansas. and Jamie Dawn and Gary Jordan of Cave Springs, Arkansas; 2 precious grandchildren: Trevor Jacob Manuel Fore and Rebekah Clare Jordan; 2 sisters-in-law: May Glen of Marshall, Arkansas and Shirley Macomber of Alpena, Arkansas; 3 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Otis E. and Carol Busbee Jr, Johnny M. and Claudia Busbee and Alvin J. and Francie Busbee, all of Marshall, Arkansas; 1 niece and nephew who provided very special and loving care during her illness: Regina Ragland and Dusty Gawer; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister-in-law: Irene Gawer; and 2 brothers-in-law: Wesley Sterling and Bill Busbee.
Funeral services for Ms. Busbee was held on Thursday, April 7th, 2016, at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.
Bro. D. Martin and Bro. Donnie Chisum officiated the service. Special music was performed by Kim Treat.
Ms. Busbee was laid to rest at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Deris Adams, Wes Smith, Dusty Gawer, Gary Jordan, David Fore and Paul Howard Stephenson.
