Farrel Lee Ragland, age 67 of the Landis Community, passed to be with our Lord on Friday November 01, 2013, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.
He was born Oct. 18, 1946 in Marshall, AR. to Elmer and Mamie (Henry) Ragland.
Farrel was a farmer, and sawmill owner & operator. He had a very special talent of fixing anything, and everything. He also loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was from a close and loving family, which he loved dearly. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Farrel professed his faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 12.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one infant brother Bendle.
Survivors include his wife of forty- seven years Roylee (Gasaway) Ragland of the home. Son; Tony Ragland and wife Kim; daughter; Tammy( Ragland ) Bridwell all of Marshall. Four grandchildren; April (Micheal) Ragan, Andrea Cannada, Anthony Ragland all of Marshall, and Austin Bridwell of Marshfield , Mo. Two great-grandchildren: Bailey Potter and Cody Brady of Marshall. Brothers: Rudail (Charolette) , Melvin (Carol) , Marvin (Beverly), Harrel (Peggy), Roger (Sherry), and Bill (Cindy) Ragland all of Marshall. He had two sisters Dean(Michael) Lawrence and Kathy (Eddie) Morrison, both of Marshall. He will be dearly missed, but very loved.
Funeral services 11:00 A.M Monday November 04, 2013 at Roller Coffman Chapel in Marshall with Brother Gary Ragland officiating. No visitation. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Greg, Kevin, Luke and Bradley Ragland, James and Doug Morrison.
