Mountain Home - A Funeral Service for Phyllis H. Fleming of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, February 19, 2018, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with Pastor Lynne O'Shea officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Phyllis passed away February 14, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 93. She was born January 16, 1925, in Battle Creek, Nebraska, the daughter of Victor and Amelia Schutt Derrick. She married Eldon Fleming on August 27, 1946, in Norfolk, Nebraska. Phyllis lived in Mountain Home since moving from Tacoma, Washington, in 1988. She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and she enjoyed gardening, bowling, and crafting.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Roger (JoAnne) Fleming of Progue, OK; daughter, Margaret (Bill) Rogers of Lincoln, NE; sister, Nelda Raasch of WA; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Marlene F. Hoffman; brother, Kenneth L. Derick; and three sisters, Isabelle Tannehill, Lorene Frink, and Bonita Houfek.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
