A Funeral Service for Lorraine Edith Hansen of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2013 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Lorraine passed away June 25, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was born July 30, 1925, in Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of Sigfried and Edith Shoberg Wikell. She married Earl Hansen on February 27, 1947 at Chicago, Illinois and worked as an administrative assistant for Baxter Corporation. She lived in Mountain Home since 1978, moving from Northbrook, Illinois. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing, needlepoint and knitting.

Lorraine is survived by her two sons, Kirk Hansen of Gassville, AR and Paul (Ruth) Hansen of California; sister, Irene Larson of Michigan; brother, Milton (Barbara) Wikell of Mundelein, Illinois; two grandchildren, Yvana (Michael) Mols of Atlanta, Georgia and Katrina Hansen of Lynden, Washington and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Internment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.
