Charles Edward Tudor, age 86 of Marshall, Arkansas died Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 15th, 1932 to Lillian Massey Tudor and James R. Tudor.
Ed graduated from Marshall High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He was Editor, Publisher and owner of the Stone County Leader, Calico Rock News and Marshall Mountain Wave newspapers. Ed served on the State Publicity Park Commission from 1966 to 1973 and was a former president of the Arkansas Shorthorn Association. He served as a volunteer firefighter in Marshall and an adjunct instructor with the Arkansas Fire Academy.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years; his six children; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one brother.
Funeral services for Ed will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Chase Kagen officiating. Marshall Volunteer Fire Department and Archey Creek Deer Camp. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
