Hettie Savannah Treat Ramsey 81 of Big Flat passed away Wednesday April, 4, 2001. She was born September 15, 1919 in Big Flat to the late Samuel Johnson Treat and Sarah Emma Dora Freeman Treat. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Round Mountain Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Euell Grant Ramsey, three sons, Cleophas Ramsey of Onia, Arkansas, Rev. T. G. Ramsey of Wynne and Rev. J. L. Ramsey of Big Flat, two daughters, Eudene Lawrence of Onia and Kathy Downs of Gassville, Arkansas. Other survivors include one brother, Doyce Treat of Big Flat, four sisters, Grace Anderson, Willadean Smith, Verdene Vickers and Maxine Pemberton all of Big Flat, ten grandchildrlen, twenty-one great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Round Mountain Pentecostal Church with burial in Big Flat Cemetery with sons, Rev. T. G. Ramsey and J. L. Ramsey officiating. Pallbearers are Ronnie Garman, Clyde Cavender, J. C. Prince, Jeff Wallace, Bennie Watts, Roy Jones and Lance Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Lawrence and Paul Mize. Arrangements by Roller-Coffman Mountain View, Arkansas.
