Virgie Mae Julian, 69, of Springdale went to be with the Lord June 17, 2007. Virgie was born May 16, 1938, in Dutton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie C. Julian, married 49 years.

Her family includes her parents, Rufus and Lottie Young of Springdale, her sisters, Wanda Walker of Springdale and Jean Bowlin and husband Max of Adrian, Mo.

Virgie's children include Vicki Philp and husband Bob of Lowell, Marion George and husband Freddy of Fayetteville, Terry Witte of Webb City, Mo., and Johnnie Russell Julian of Lowell.

Virgie was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was very loved and will be very missed.

Celebration service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Max Bowlin officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Marsh, Jason Marsh, Nick George, Shaun Philp, Eric Philp and Bryan Shaw.
