Erwin Carl Counts, 71, of Rogers, died Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at his home. Born Nov. 25, 1923, at Drakes Creek, he was the son of John Counts and Martha Davis Counts.
Survivors are his wife, Wanda Lee Hutchinson Counts of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Elder of Lowell and Diane Johnson of Rogers; two sisters, Fern Hiblong of Mabelville and Linda Burt of Louisiana; five brothers, Kenneth Counts of Lowell, the Rev. Loy Counts of Springdale, the Rev. Curtis Counts of Springdale, the Rev. Bill Counts of Odessa, Texas, and the Rev. Bob Counts of Bell Flower, Calif.; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
