ROGERS — Aubrey E. Adams, 89, of Rogers died Oct. 12, 2005, in Rogers. He was born Feb. 16, 1916, in Barlow, Ky., to Benjamin and Francis Evans Adams. He was a cook at Waffle Hut in Rogers and formerly worked at Thrifty Drug Store in Riverside, Calif., and served in the Army from 1942 to 1945, where he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of the Pentecostal church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Taylor Adams of the home; one stepson, David Jones of Springdale; one stepdaughter, Patricia Jones of Rogers; five stepgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.
