"Levi White Cemetery: This cemetery is located on the old Levi White place, now owned by Jerry Eubanks. Contains the grave of a man working around the community at the time. He took pneumonia and died approximately 1880-1890. A Cruce woman and baby are buried together here, also around 1880-1890. The story is told in the White family that these three people died fairly close together and the creek was too high to cross to get to the Sixteenth Section Cemetery, so they were buried on the White Farm. A young son of Levi White was the first to be buried here, David T. White, born 1880 and died 1890. Reference: Virgil White."
