Daughter of Hervey and Virginia Brown
C. M. Reese and Mirtie Brown were married on May 25, 1909 in Jackson Co, AR. They were living in Cow Lake Township in 1910 and had a 2-month-old daughter, Evelyn S. In the decade following, Charley and Mirtie had 5 more children; Fay , Leola, Eunice, Edra Dee and Woodrow.
C. M. died in 1919 at the age of 33 and Mirtie passed on in 1920 as did 2 year old Edra Dee. All three are buried in Eight Mile Cemetery near Beedeville, Ar
