"Loving Husband and Father"
Billy Proctor, 75, of Newport died Friday, June 11, 2010. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ and preceded in death by his parents; William and Mattie Proctor, one brother and six sisters. Survivors include his wife; Bobbie Proctor of Newport, son; Bobby Proctor and wife Liz of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, step-son; Van Gaines and wife Beth of Cordova, Tennessee, step-daughter; Linda Smith of Memphis, brother; Chester Proctor of Marshall, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Dillinger Chapel with burial in Eight Mile Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2010. Officiating will be Rick Gilbreath.
