Lottie Bernice Luster, a resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life, Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the age of seventy-nine. She was born on, August 6, 1933, in Algoa, Arkansas, the daughter of James Julius and Hazel Thompson Powell. She married Mr. George Luster in 1953.
Mrs. Luster was of the Baptist faith and was owner of the City Café in McCrory and Augusta. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking sweets, and quilting, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter; Julie Meredith, three brothers: Gene Powell, Leon Powell, Estell Powell, and granddaughter Jamie Meredith.
Lottie is survived by her two sons: David Luster and wife Juanita of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, Terry Luster and wife Sabrina of Amagon, Arkansas, one daughter: Mary Bible and husband Randy of Brookhaven, Mississippi, one brother: Larry Powell of Midway, Arkansas, eight grandchildren: Sheila Luster, Lisa Willis, Sarah Ware, Keith Luster, Bryan Bible, Pam Bible, David Luster, and Justin Mullinex, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eight Mile Cemetery in Beedeville, Arkansas. Visitation will be held, Thursday evening from 6 till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 870-238-9400
