Golda Irene Skaggs, 100, of Huntsville; died Friday, December 11, 2020, at Countryside Assisted Living, Huntsville. She was born Wednesday, September 15, 1920, at Kingston; to Albert D. and Era Kay Stamps Sparks.

Golda married Herman Truman Skaggs on September 10, 1937 at Huntsville; and together they were parents to three children. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Golda owned the Ceramic Den in Huntsville.

Golda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herman, one daughter-in-law, Yolonda Skaggs; and one grandchild, Kevin Skaggs. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Truman and Paula Skaggs of Springdale; and Larry Skaggs of Rogers; one daughter and son-in-law, Lafonda and Harold Williams of Bella Vista; 5 grandchildren, Shawn Skaggs, Tonya Immel, Kimberly Cristarella, Brian Skaggs, Kyle Stroud, and Kristen McClendon; and 17 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2020; at Brashears Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, please practice social distancing and masks are required. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, with Larry Combs officiating. Pallbearers will be great-grandchildren, Jason Immel, Layne Immel, Cameron Skaggs, Zack Skaggs, Jacob Skaggs, Chyanne Skaggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Kim Tipton, Floyd Warren, Andy Ivy, Alan Ivy, Jack Brannan, Shawn Skaggs, Brian Skaggs, Kyle Stroud, Justin MClendon, and Tony Cristarella. Interment will immediately follow services at Huntsville Cemetery. The family would like to thank the management and staff of Countryside Assisted Living for the loving care they have provided for Golda since March 2009. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
