Mary Ellen Marfas, 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Mountain Home. She was born October 11, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to James McAuliffe and Josephine (Yots) Gillen.
Mary's love for animals was well known by many family members and friends as she was member of the Mountain Home Humane Society for many years. She was also a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church for very many years. In her free time she enjoyed reading murder mystery books and watching Razorback Football, Basketball, and Baseball.
Mary is survived by two daughters; Janet (Mike) Graham of Cypress, Texas and Susan (Camille) Nazi of Highland Ranch, Colorado, one son David Marfas (Patty Fletcher) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and four grandchildren; Meagan Graham, Lauren Graham, Christopher Nazi, and Kalina Nazi. Funeral services are private.
