When Wilma Fay Qualls was born on November 9, 1946, in Story, Arkansas, her father, Willis, was 27, and her mother, Ann, was 18. She married on June 17, 1964, in Merced, California. She had two children during her marriage. She died on January 14, 2007, at the age of 60, and was buried in her hometown.
