IN MEMORY OF MY FRIEND.
Mrs. Blake Livingston, who died at her home near Wilson Saturday morning, Sept. 2, after ten days illness.
Everything was done for her that her physician, companion, brother and kind friends could do, but all in vain. The Angels took her away. Mrs. Livingston was only 33 years old. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She became a child of God at twenty years of age. She was a good, sweet neighbor and will be missed by all, but she has only paid the debt that we all will have to pay sooner or later.
Her body was carried to Osceola and involved and prepared for shipment to Portia where she was buried. Her remains were interred in the Clover Bend Cemetery beside her mother. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Howard and Rev. Davis of Portia.
She is survived by a husband, two brothers, one sister and a host of friends. She is gone but will not be forgotten. She was loved well, but God loved her best and the Angels had taken her away.
Her loved ones have are heartfelt sympathy. May God bless them in their grief and help them prepare to meet her is my prayer.
She is gone, yes gone forever, but we will meet each other there where there will be no parting in that bright land so bright and fair.
