Mrs. Chester Gallant died at her home in Steele Tuesday at the age of 57 years. A native of Yarbro she had lived in Steele for several years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at the Assembly of God Church in Steele with the Rev. Earl Cox officiating. Interment was in the Elmwood Cemetery at Blytheville
Surviving are her husband Sylvester Gallant, of Steele, three daughters., Mrs. Robert Holly and Mrs. Olen Taylor of Steele and Mrs. Revis Harder of St. Louis; and one son, John Gallant of Somerset Ky., also two sisters and two brothers.

When Curtis Benjamin Kinsey was born on October 6, 1896, in Malden, Missouri, his father, Joseph, was 36 and his mother, Sarah, was 25. He married Chester Tiney Carner on November 21, 1916, in Arkansas. They had three children during their marriage. He died as a young father on January 6, 1925, at the age of 28.
