Danny McHaffey, 58, of Blytheville, AR., passed from this life on Friday, August 17, 2012, at his residence.
Born in Blytheville, AR., to Robert Daniel and Mildred Smart McHaffey.
He was a lifelong resident of Blytheville, a sales route driver for NEXAIR, and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Danny was a past Scout Master for the Boy Scouts, past board member of the MissCo Fair, and a board member of the Dogwood Water Association. He enjoyed woodworking and was a general handyman, especially "honey do's", and loved watching Lindsey cheer at ASU.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Danny is survived by his wife of 14 years, Becky McHaffey of Blytheville; daughter, Lindsey Marshall of Jonesboro; brother, Sid McHaffey of Jonesboro; sister, Pam Stark of Heber Springs; mother-in-law, Tink Dedman of Sherwood; and father-in-law, Jim Jackson and his wife Linda of Blytheville.
Funeral services were at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangments were by Cobb Funeral Home.
