Cecilia Catherine Taylor, age 100, of Ozark, Arkansas died November 3, 2020 in Ozark. She was born May, 8, 1920 in Altus, Arkansas to Joseph and Pauline Oechsle Dahlem. She was retired from Cargill with forty years of service. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altus. Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Taylor, and eight siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Foster and husband Tommy of Ozark, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Lisa Rushing and husband Doug Vanzant of Ozark, Sabrena Whitson and husband John of New Braunsfels, Texas; one grandson, Ricky Foster and wife Debbie of Ozark ; great-grandsons, Ossie Rushing and wife Coral of Needville, Texas, Zachary Rushing and wife Montana of Ozark, Ramone Rushing and wife Meisha or Ozark, Nathan Foster and wife Amanda of Ozark, and Matthew Whitson of New Braunfels, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Ferguson and husband Matt of Cibolo, Texas; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 5118 St. Mary’s Lane in Altus, and burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark under direction of Shaffer Funeral home of Ozark.
