Betty Lou Combs, 86, of Whitelake, Michigan formerly of Ozark, Arkansas died April 29, 2020 in Michigan. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born April 18, 1934 in Ozark to Verl and Martha Brandenburg Whitson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paskel Combs; a son, Kenneth Combs; two brothers, Clif and Elvis Whitson; and two sisters, Dorthy McDonald and Kate Bly.
She is survived by a son, Billy Whitson; a daughter, Shirley Smagaez; a granddaughter, Sarah Slay; a grandson, Matthew Combs; and four great grandchildren, Chelsie, Ian, Lila, and Maverick.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at West Park Baptist Church with Brother Glen McAlister officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
