When Frederick Rutledge "Fred" CHILD was born on August 5, 1902, in Knox, Tennessee, his father, Albert, was 44 and his mother, Sarah, was 34. He married Marian Rose Mason on August 5, 1924, in Arkansas. They had seven children during their marriage. He died on September 19, 1962, in Blytheville, Arkansas, at the age of 60, and was buried there.
