SPRINGDALE — Robert Haden, 85, of Springdale died April 1, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Ladonia, Texas, to Robert Charles and Audry White Haden. He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving in the South Pacific. He moved to Springdale in 1949, and was a partner in the Lowell Seed Company. He retired after 26 years with Thomas Fruit Company of Joplin, Mo. He was a Methodist and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Haden of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry D. Haden and Patty of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one brother, John Haden of Bedford, Texas; one grandson, Brian Haden of Broken Arrow.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Home in Springdale, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 3822, Little Rock, 72203, or to the local chapter, c/o Mida Neff, 102 Woodcliff Road, Springdale, 72764.

Oma Jean Haden was born August 21, 1923 in Ladonia, Fannin County Texas, to Hattie and L.C. Threlkeld. She died Friday May 8, 2020 at the age of 96. She came to Springdale, Arkansas in 1949. She was a retired dental assistant for Doctor E.L. McNally. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Haden and a son, Jerry Don Haden. She is survived by a grandson Brian A Haden, a daughter-in-law Patricia Haden and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday May 15, 2020 at Sisco Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
