Carol (Whitfield) Harris, 69, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas. Carol was born on April 21, 1950 in Batesville, Arkansas to James Roe and Gelene (Thomas) Whitefield. Carol was of the Baptist faith and worked as a teacher and in later years as a medical coder. Carol was a loving daughter, mother, wife, sister, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Carol is survived by her mother Gelene (Thomas) Whitfield of Mountain View, Arkansas; husband, Jimmy Harris of Conway, Arkansas; one son, Doug Gentry and wife Tiffany of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Tamara Clement and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Richard Whitfield and wife Rebecca of Benton, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Liam and Olly Gentry and Daniel and Miranda Clement; one nephew, Harrison Whitfield; sister and brother-in-law Richard and Peggy Andrews and their children Briles and Casey Andrews; and her beloved four-legged babies, Gracie and Hannah; along with many extended family and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, James Roe Whitfield.

Visitation is Thursday, September 19, 2019, 10:00-11:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Brother Tim Whitfield officiating. Interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Jeff Clement, Daniel Clement, Richard Thomas, Greg Smith, Joey Thomas, and Matthew Smith.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
