Merrill "Bud" Woodard, 71 died Wednesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1942 in Augusta and had lived in Lawrence County most of his life. He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Joe Woodard and Jimmy Dale Woodard; son, Michael Lavon Woodard.
He is survived by his wife, Della Woodard of the home; daughter, Rose Henderson (Joe) of Walnut Ridge; sisters, Francis Rollins, Sharon Marshall (Bob) and Judy Mounce (Michael) all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren.. Amber Henderson and Rebecca Catron; great grandchildren, Melody Catron and one on the way.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 .m., Saturday at House-Gregg Funeral Home Chapel with Rob Combs officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Eight Mile Cemetery in Beedeville, Arkansas.
