Dbl stone w/Wilma I. (Thompson) Williams
Mr. Emery "Fuzzy" Williams, 89, of Beedeville departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his home. He was born September 26, 1923 in Rosie, the son of Carroll Williams and Minnie L. (Little) Williams Holder Lamkins Walker, and married Miss Wilma Thompson on May 18, 1958.
Mr. Williams retired from Madden Brother's Farms in 2000, enjoyed fishing and raising hogs. He was a member of the Beedeville Church of Christ.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Thompson) Williams in 2007; one son, Ronnie D. Williams; two daughters, Dorothy Kullman and Mary E. Welch; six brothers, L.D. Williams, Ralph Williams, Albert Williams, Hershal Williams, Claude Lamkins, and Burl Lamkins; four sisters, Dora Ennis, Opal Ennis, Minnie Lou Salters, and Catherine Lamkins; and two grandchildren, Brian Williams and Olen Welch.
He is survived by four sons, Carl E. Williams and wife Janette of Krum, Texas, Carroll V. Williams and wife Bunny of New Waverly, Texas, Thomas W. Burnette, Jr. of Nettleton, Mississippi, and David D. Burnette, Sr. and wife Teresa, of Beedeville, Arkansas; two daughters, Sally Robinett of Newark, Arkansas and Margie Jacobs and husband Charles of McCrory, Arkansas; three brothers, Howard Williams Young of Searcy, Herman Holder of McCrory, and Clifford Lamkins of Ridge Hills, Missouri; grandchildren, Rodney Williams, Ricky Williams, Keith Williams, Christian Williams, Hannah Williams, Ashley Bagwell, Nikki Cooper, Steven Jacobs, Brandy Jacobs, Jennifer Proctor, Vince Little, Matthew Burnette, David Burnette, Jr., and Justin Burnette; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday, September 17, 2013, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Llano Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Eightmile Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Otto Reynolds, Daniel Pimentel, Charles Jacobs, Glen Dunham, John Taylor, and Jeff Bagwell. Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons, and Stan and Ken Madden.
