ROGERS — Barbara K. Laird, 63, died May 31, 2012, at her home. She was born in Bentonville on Aug. 3, 1948, to B. J. and Bobbie Lillard. She spent her 63 years of life surrounded by those she loved, both her cherished friends and her family. Barbara never met a person who remained a stranger for very long and impacted countless lives in her journey down life's road.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Dwight; her son, Matthew and three grandchildren; Hannah, Mason and Caitlyn. She is preceded in death by her mother, her father and her brother Stephen Lillard.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 10 a.m. in the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at 206 S.E 28th St. in Bentonville with Terry Simmons officiating.
The burial will follow at Bentonville City Cemetery. Her visitation is Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
