Carolyn Weeks Abbott Omillian, 86, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Carolyn was born in Vance, Mississippi to Leon Alvin and Eva Allie Higginbotham Weeks. She was the former owner and bookkeeper of Delta Auto Parts and a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. Carolyn was a very active member of her church where she served as the secretary and organist. She was also a leader and member of the Joy Group and sang in A Gospel Quartet that traveled around Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. She also played in a ukulele band. Carolyn enjoyed watching television game shows, sewing and traveling, especially going on cruises. Carolyn was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James T. “Jim” Abbott; and brother, Leon “Pete” Weeks, Jr.

Carolyn leaves her husband, Wayne Omillian of the home; children, James T. “Tommy” Abbott, Jr. (Clarinda) of Blytheville, Deborah “Deby” Abbott Jolley (CB) of Memphis, Linda Sanford (Kevin) of Blytheville, Jerry Omillian (Robin) of Huntington, Indiana and Douglas Omillian (Roseanne) of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Wanda Weeks Abbott Peters (Bill) of Arley Alabama; grandchildren, Christopher Jolley, Amber Foster (Christian), James T. Abbott III (Leslie), Joy Wicker (Zach), Luke Sanford (Courtney), Alyse Omillian, Christopher Omillian, Bethany Omillian and Alexi Omillian; and great-grandchildren, Knox Foster, Kyler Abbott, Kara Abbott, Keaton Wicker and Kamden Wicker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.C. Seward and Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
