Jabe E. "Jay" Hoggard, 76, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born November 16, 1943 to the late Jabe and Robbye Noble Hoggard in Lake Village , Arkansas.
He was a 1961 graduate of El Dorado High School and went on to attend Henderson State University, where he was a member of the Phi Lambda Chi Fraternity. Jay was a private practice Attorney at Law, and member of Marrable Hill Chapel.
Survivors include his daughters, Jinjer Hoggard Pastor of San Diego, CA, Jennifer Hoggard Salwei of Meredian, ID; sister, Martha Hoggard Cripe (Ret. USAF) of El Dorado; two grandsons, Dustin Dison of Bosie, ID, Nicholas Provencio of Meredian, ID; three nephews, Chris Howe of Silverton, CO, Lance Howe of Rogers, AR, Casey Cripe of Telluride, CO; and cousin, Kaye Hoggard.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. In keeping with CDC regulations mask and social distancing will be required.
