Julia - 1861-August 29, 1948

Mrs. Julia Ann Paulman, aged 86, lifelong Calhoun county resident, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W. L. Lucas of near Bearden Sunday. Also surviving are four other daughters, Mrs. J. T. McGuire, Mrs. Jim Steelman, Mrs. Ed Benson of Thornton; Mrs. G. D. Ellis of Little Rock; four sons, W. H., A. J., A. A., all of Thornton; A. G. Paulman of Marianna; and 36 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Callaway cemetery at 2 p.m. Monday with Proctor mortuary in charge. The Rev. Alfred Byars was in charge. (Camden News - August 30, 1948)
