PRAIRIE GROVE — Charles Paul Swain, 83, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Oct. 29, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 11, 1929, in Lincoln, the son of Cecil L. and Dorothy Eudora Spradley Swain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Oleta Swain; and two sisters, Glenna Waters and Sue Childs.
Survivors include one son, Dwain Swain of Springdale; one daughter, Barbara Matthews and husband, Delmer of Morrow; one brother, Harry Swain and wife, Sharon of Lincoln; six grandchildren, Paul Swain, Charity Swain Cherry, Luke Swain, Paula Matthews Smith, Carlita Matthews Justus and Kelsey Matthews; 13 grandchildren, Jasmine Swain, Jacob Swain, Benjamin Swain, Danuel Smith, Savannah Smith, Clayton Smith, Cedric Justus, Aubrey Justus, Logan Cherry, Lily Cherry, Devyn Swain, Caleb Swain and Luke Swain.
Family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday evening at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills, burial will be in Dutch Mills Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Beatle Bailey, Doug Hulse, Ed Bailey, Robert Curtsinger, Tommy Tucker and Curtis Grissom.
Honorary pallbearers: Jonathan Allen, Don Grissom, Gerald Kidd and Monroe Young.

MORROW — Oleta Elmina Swain, 73, of Morrow died April 22, 2004, at her home. She was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Cane Hill to Zeb Dee and Pearl Hannah Hembree Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Swain of the home; one son, Dwain Swain of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Barbara Matthews of Morrow; two brothers, Harvie Reed of Westville, Okla., and Thurman Reed of Lincoln; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills. Paul Young will officiate.
Burial will be in Dutch Mills Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
Memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills or the Dutch Mills Cemetery Association.
Pallbearers will be Dale Hutchinson, Johnny Slaughter, Curtis Griscom, Robert Curtsinger, Rolland Bailey and Ed Bailey.
