LOWELL — Wayne Main, 87, of Lowell died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008. He was born April 29, 1920, in Benton County. He was the son of Samuel and Gennetta Roberson Main.
He was a member of the Jesus Name Assembly and was preceded in death by his wife, Vesta Main; one son, Floyd Main; and his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Main and wife Mary of Lowell, Ronnie Main and Wife Lena of Lowell; one daughter-in-law, Cathie Main of Fayetteville; one sister, Mary Youngman of Springdale; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, online at www.backstrom-pyeatte.com.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Brown officiating.
Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery.

LOWELL — Vesta Main, 84, of Lowell died Sept. 3, 2007, in Springdale. She was born June 23, 1923, in Lowell to Wes and Jane McGarrah Whittle. She was a farmer and member of Jesus Name Assembly in Springdale. She was preceded in death by one son, Floyd Main.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Main of the home, to whom she was married 67 years; two sons, Lawrence Main and wife Mary and Ronnie Main and wife Lena, all of Lowell; one brother, Esau Whittle of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Adeane Skaggs of California; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, online at www.backstrom-pyeatte.com. The Rev. Joe Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Main, Alan Main, Dennis Main, Andrew Main, Doug Williams and Jeff Noble.
