Mary Elizabeth Collins Yarbro was the daughter of Andrew Jackson "Jack" Collins and Elizabeth "Bettie" Bunch Collins. She was born in Kentucky. She married Jasper Milton Yarbro and their children were Mary "Phebe", Milton Jasper, Annie, Herman, Thurman, and Amie Yarbro. She lived out most of her life in Yarbro, Mississippi County, Arkansas, which was named for Jasper Milton Yarbro, her husband.
